Shen Wins Prestigious Holiday Tournament, Now 10-0 (AUDIO)

After winning the NYSPHSAA state championship at the Class AA level a season ago, the Shenendehowa Boys' basketball team is not feeling any post-championship hangover.

The Plainsmen are now 10-0 after winning the prestigious Palmer tournament in Elmira over this holiday break.

Shen saw three teams from three different states in three days en route to the tournament championship.

Shen coach Tony Dzikas joined me on "Capital Region Sports Saturday" this morning to talk about the tournament win, the play of Kevin Huerter - and one of the main guys who compliments Huerter on the floor.

Furthermore, Dzikas talked with us about coaching his own son this season (he's a sophomore) and he answered the question "Where does Kevin Huerter rank among the best players you've coached or coached against?"
