Is Kevin Huerter Starting To Get Back To His Old Form Now?
I am always rooting for local product and Shen graduate Kevin Huerter to do well and be successful in the National Basketball Association. This season obviously has not been his best as he has struggled to make shots and his points per game average is below ten per game. He has even been out of the starting lineup recently which you can assume messes with his confidence. However, the last two games he has started and shot the ball well and even had 26 points the other week. Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:
Nice to see Shenendehowa grad Kevin Huerter returning to the starting lineup for the Sacramento Kings and returning to his old form. He dropped 26 on Sunday at Milwaukee and he shot the ball with confidence. Huerter gets paid Millions to make three pointers and his offense is needed for the Kings to make another run in the playoffs. Sacramento's success is built on its offensive firepower and that's why Huerter needs to always play major minutes for the Kings.

The Kings have been struggling as of late and I think head coach Mike Brown should be starting and playing Kevin Huerter on a frequent basis. He defends at a high level and is a lethal three point shooter when his game is on. The Kings are going to be a playoff team again in the Western Conference. They have a talented and deep roster and Kevin Huerter is a major reason why.
