In other crazy NBA news, the halftime performer for the NBA All-Star Game has finally been chosen. And I take nobody saw this one coming.

Sting has been chosen to perform during halftime of the 2016 NBA All-Star Game.

Recent performers over the past five years include Rihanna and Drake (2011), Pitbull, Chris Brown, and Neo (2012), Alicia Keys (2013), Earth, Wind, & Fire (2014), and Ariana Grande (2015).

There's no way anyone had Sting on their radar. In no way is Sting a terrible performer. There's a reason why Sting and The Police are in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but this just doesn't add up. Look at the audience.
