Stolen Yankees Memorabilia and More On Facebook! Can You Help NYS Police?
Have you ever purchased something on Facebook Marketplace, eBay or Craig's List? If you purchased something from the Hudson Valley recently, the items you bargained for might be stolen. Now, New York State Police are asking for your help to locate these items and the people that sold them.
Facebook Marketplace, eBay and Craig's List seem like a simple way to purchase items for little money and sometimes find items listed for free. Truth is we don't really know anything about the items or the people we are buying from. Are the items in good condition? Is the seller reputable? Could the items be stolen? Yes, they could be!

New York State Police out of Troop F in Highland, NY are investigating a case of stolen property and they have reason to believe that several items may have been put up for sale on Facebook Marketplace.
The burglary being investigated took place on September 16, 2022 in New Paltz, NY. Knowing the way Facebook Marketplace works the items could have ended up anywhere in New York State or beyond. Have you enquired about or purchased any of these items in question?
