Earlier this year, Syracuse University finished renovations on the Carrier Dome, their home arena for football and basketball games. Unfortunately for Orange fans, media members began to notice issues with the facilities as early as this past October.

Wednesday night, Syracuse University's athletic website released this
statement

Tonight's Syracuse University women's basketball game has been moved to the Melo Center and will be played as a private scrimmage. This decision was made out of an abundance of caution after a game official spotted a few droplets of water on one area of the court. We are in the final stages of the roof construction project, which includes spot sealing the roof. We look forward to quickly resolving this issue for tomorrow's men's basketball game. Syracuse women's basketball will host Penn State on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 2 pm

The Athletic's Matthew Gutierrez is reporting that tonight's game against Niagara is still scheduled to take place.
