I am and have always been a New York Yankees fan. Which means the Boston Red Sox are the rival I love to hate. Couple that with some terrible fan experiences and I am as much a Red Sox hater as anyone. That being said there are things that are so much bigger than sports (whether I want to admit it or not) and seeing David Ortiz healthy and happy was HUGE.
