A series that was destined to go seven games didn't but it was ok, because the series already had multiple overtime games including a three-overtime thriller and a wild Game 6 that saw the Blackhawks tally two late third period goals in 17 seconds in Boston for the victory.  A Stanley Cup hasn't ever been won in that fashion.  And so, the Chicago Blackhawks are 2013 Stanley Cup champs.

Oh did Chicago raise Kane. Or better yet it was Kane that raised Chicago. Behind 2 goals from Patrick Kane Blackhawks dumped the Bruins Saturday night 3-1, and now lead the Stanley  Cup finals 3 -2. Game 6 will be back in Boston on Monday night...

It's an Original 6 Stanley Cup Finals, the first since 1979 and the first finals since 1972 between American Original 6 teams.  Bruins and Blackhawks.  Here is a preview of the series that will eventually end in one of these teams hoisting Lord Stanley's Cup, the most coveted trophy in team sports.
