For quite some time now, the Super Bowl Champions have  kicked off the NFL season in Prime Time. This year is no different as the New York Giants will take on the rival Dallas Cowboys on  Wednesday, September 5th at MetLife Stadium.

Senior goaltender Austin Lee stopped all 36 shots he faced and classmate Cameron Cooper scored the game's only goal with just 1:22 remaining in the third period as Minnesota State defeated RPI, 1-0, in a non-league game at Houston Field House. The game was the season opener for both teams.

The New York Giants 1st team offense didn't look good in the preseason and they didn't look good in their season opener today either. The Giants were shutout in the 2nd half as the Washington Redskins defeated New York, 28-14 in Landover, Maryland.

Yesterday, the 2011 NFL schedule was released.  And guess what? I don’t care.
