The Art Of Re-Gifting
It's the holiday season and you're probably worried about spending lots of money to purchase gifts on people you don't even know or probably don't really even care about. I know how you can do your Christmas shopping without spending a dime!
It's called re-gifting. You know what I'm talking about. Giving someone else a lame gift you've received in the past.
We all have those re-gifting stories. Remember last year - during your Secret Santa office party - Hal in Accounting got you those NY Yankees throw pillows. So what do you do with throw pillows? You certainly don't display them in your living room. You re-gift, of course.
You realize the best re-gift items always come from someone that really doesn’t know you too well? Seriously.
My wife and I have wedding gifts from 5 years ago that we’re still waiting to re-gift. We’ve got a a champagne set, some dishes and a coffee maker waiting to be given out…..so please invite us to your party!!
I aint gonna lie. We are always re-gifting stuff that our 2-year old, Zachary, received for past birthdays. In fact, we're now even using them at other kids’ birthday parties. So if my wife, Zachary and I are at your kids birthday party coming up, you’re probably getting an Elmo Play Dough Set. Happy Holidays!
