As we continue to recap the top stories of 2015, we go no further than Niskayuna High School graduate Garrett Whitley.

Whitley, the Silver Warriors standout, was selected in the first round (No. 13 overall) of June's MLB Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays.

Whitley's combination of speed and power made him an attractive prep bat in the draft and he drew praise from across all of baseball.
