After dispatching CBA-Syracuse in the NYS Regional Final, the Troy High School boys' basketball team is just two wins away from a New York State championship in Class A.

Rich Hurley's team will play against Williamsville-South (Buffalo Area) at 9 a.m. on Saturday at the Glens Falls Civic Center.

Hurley has experience at the state tournament level, having coached Troy and Bishop Maginn both at that level.

We brought in Hurley on Thursday to ask him what his team needs to do to capture the championship and how he has prepared his team to play a 9 a.m. Saturday game.

Will his team stay overnight on Friday to avoid early travel? Will they travel early Saturday morning? Hurley answered all that and more - and also spoke about what it's like to be one of the five Section II teams vying for state championships this weekend.
