UAlbany Lacrosse Begins America East Tournament

After making a run to the Final Four last season, the UAlbany Great Danes are hoping to get back to the NCAA tournament this season. In comparsion to previous seasons, Coach Scott Marr and his team may not even be considered the favorite to win the conference. The third seeded Great Danes travel to take on the second seeded Vermont Catamounts. Earlier in the season, Vermont defeated Albany 10-9. The Great Danes have appeared in seven of the last eight America East conference title games. If UAlbany defeats Vermont Thursday, they will face the winner of Stony Brook vs UMBC. The Great Danes defeated fourth seeded UMBC earlier in the season. Top seeded Stony Brook knocked off Albany in the regular season finale 12-10

Face off is set for 4:30pm at LaValle Stadium.
