Union Up to No. 2 Nationally
After a 2-0 season-opening weekend, Union College is now up to No. 2 in the latest USCHO national poll.
The Dutchmen, who were ranked No. 5 previously, defeated American International College and New Hampshire as they opened defense of their national title.
Union and Minnesota played in last year's title game. Minnesota is currently No. 1 in the USCHO poll while Union is No. 2 (Getty Images).
Union received three first-place votes. The University of Minnesota received the other 47. They won the season-opening Ice Breaker Tournament, defeating RPI in the final.
