San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis caught a touchdown pass in the 3rd quarter against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.  Unfortunately, his failed celebration will be remembered more.

Vernon Davis had one of the more memorable end zone fails against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.  Davis caught a 4-yard touchdown pass to give the 49ers a 23-7 lead over Green Bay with 8:16 to play in the 3rd quarter.  Davis then decided to celebrate a little by dunking the football over the crossbar of the goal post.  However, Davis didn't exactly channel his inner Michael "Air" Jordan.

Davis came up short and was rejected by the goal post.  If you look closely, you can actually see the crossbar do a finger wag like Dikembe Mutumbo.  Davis was smiling about the failed celebration on the sideline as if he was thinking, "Man, I'm never going to hear the end of this."  San Francisco went on to beat the Packers 30-22.  San Fran will host the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football at 8:20pm this weekend.  The Green Bay Packers will host the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football at 8:20pm this week.
