Who Will Win The Super Bowl: 49ers or Chiefs?
This year's Super Bowl should be a good one. It features a rematch of the 2020 Big Game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs. There are several intriguing matchups both individual and team. It will be Patrick Mahomes looking for his third Super Bowl in five years and Brock Purdy looking for his first ever. His head coach Kyle Shanahan will also be looking for his first ever Super Bowl. The line is very close for this game as expected but I can't seem to wrap my head around the fact that Mahomes and the Chiefs are underdogs. I have bet against him twice at Buffalo and at Baltimore. So much for him not being able to win on the road. Below is my quick take regarding this as seen in The Times Union:
The last two games I picked against quarterback Patrick Mahomes and got burnt burn times with Buffalo and Baltimore both getting bounced by Kansas City. It won’t happen in the Super Bowl because Mahomes will figure it out like he always does, and the Chiefs have the best defensive coordinator in the game in Steve Spagnolo. Kansas City 28-21.
If the Chiefs do win they are without a doubt a dynasty and you have to give head coach Andy Reid some credit too. But the real MVP is defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo who won two Super Bowls with New York Football Giants over the New England Patriots. Let the party begin and I hope to see everybody at Dutch's Place for the Super Bowl Party.
