Wally the Green Monster and Mr. Met nearly come to blows during a dance competition on MLB Fan Cave.  You can't make this stuff up.

Boston Red Sox mascot Wally the Green Monster recently had a showdown with New York Mets' mascot Mr. Met on MLB Fan Cave. The two mascots nearly came to blows, but Roshon Fegan from Disney's "Shake it Up" did his MC Hammer impression from the video "Pray" and broke up the potential fisticuffs. Who isn't a sucker for staged mascot-on-mascot violence being broken up by some punk kid who dances well?

On a side note, I have to ask this question; when do the men who are mascots tell the new girl in their life that they are, indeed, a mascot? Does it happen right away? Does the girl say, "So, what do you do for work," and the guy simply respond, "Well, I'm actually Wally the Green Monster." Does that happen?

I have to imagine that it's a buzzkill for some women that there potential new boyfriend or possible husband puts on a big-fuzzy-green mask when he goes to work. Right? I think it's always best to be yourself and not hide anything. Be honest, be up front, and if the female isn't digging you because of your mascot gig, then don't need her anyway. Rock on, Wally & Mr. Met, and good luck with the ladies in the meantime.
