Despite getting 20 points from Glens Falls native Jimmer Fredette, the Westchester Knicks fell in Game 1 of the NBA D-League playoffs. They lost to the Sioux Falls Skyforce, who are an affiliate of the Miami Heat.

You can watch Fredette's highlights here:

Jimmer's 20 points came on 6-16 shooting. He also hit on 2-4 from behind-the-arc. For the year, Fredette averaged more than 21 points a game and shot near the 50 percent barrier. He also earned MVP of the D-League All-Star Game after scoring 35 points, a record.

Furthermore, Fredette earned two separate call-ups to the NBA this season. He spent part of the early season with the New Orleans Pelicans and also earned a 10-day contract with the New York Knicks later in the year. But the Knicks refused to play Fredette, who saw just five minutes of action. He scored seven points in those five minutes.

Game 2 of the series is Friday night in Sioux Falls.
