White Sox Starter Chris Sale completely owned Yankees batters as the White Sox would sweep their 3 game series with New York winning 2-1 on Wednesday night.

Both starting pitchers has good outings but  Sale was dominant striking out 13 batters in 7 2/3 innings and walking only one. Phil Hughes would go 7 innings striking out 5 and walking 2.

The White Sox got on the board first thanks to a sacrifice fly by Kevin Youkilis that would score Gordon Beckham in the bottom of the 3rd. The Yankee captain Derek Jeter would tie things up in the top of the 6th with his 13th home run of the season. It wouldn't stay tied long Alex Rios would break it up in the bottom of the 6th with a solo shot to deep center. Thats all the White Sox would need as Sale and the Bullpen would take care of business in the last 3 innings.

The Yankees will have a day off Thursday as they head to Cleveland to take on the Indians. CC Sabathia will make his first start since being placed on the DL on August 11. CC will take on Corey Kluber for the Tribe. Catch all the action on 104.5 The Team ESPN Radio. Pregame at 6:30, first pitch at 7:05
