The MLB trade deadline has officially passed, meaning the playoff push can officially begin around the league. All three of our regional teams of interest made a few moves, but let's see how they did.

Yankees B-

Players acquired: Luis Garcia Jr, Heliot Ramos, Omar Alfonzo, Luis Cruz

Players lost: Camilo Doval, Henry LaLane, Kaeden Kent, Ben Grable, Yovanny Cruz, Jack Cebert, Jake Bird

Ultimately the Yankees deadline does also include the near returns of Aaron Judge, Cody Bellinger, and Giancarlo Stanton, as well as the debut of their top prospect George Lombard Jr. However, fans certainly would've liked to see more. Luis Garcia Jr and Heliot Ramos do provide very good hitting against opposite hand pitching making them very valuable platoon bats. But the Yankees still will struggle to put runs on the board until they get healthy, and as good as that pitching staff has been they could be gassed by the time playoffs roll around.

Mets B

Players acquired: Jefferson Rojas, Gary Hill, Aidan Smith, Emilien Pitre, Sammy Stafura, John Spikerman, Luke Gabrysh, Zach Franklin, Gabe Davis, Chayce McDermott, Billy Amick, Bruin Agbayani

Players lost: Clay Holmes, Tyrone Taylor, Freddy Peralta, Luke Weaver, Brooks Raley, Huascar Brazoban, Ben Rortvedt, AJ Minter

The Mets deadline firesale went about as expected. Almost a third of the active roster on the move but they did receive an abundance of prospects for their sale. The Mets also held onto any players who would make this team competitive next year, like Lindor, Bichette, and their top pitchers.

Red Sox A

Players acquired: Adley Rutschman, Jake Rogers, Erik Miller, Carlos Gutierrez, Eli White, Jahmai Jones, Curtis Mead

Players lost: Anthony Eyanson, Kyson Witherspoon, Enddy Azocar, Carlos Narvaez, Marcelo Mayer, Tyler Uberstine, Jojo Ingrassia, Connelly Early

The Red Sox being the hottest team in baseball completely changed their deadline plans. Instead of selling, they added a few extra arms, and swiped Adley Rutschman from the Orioles after a bidding war with the Yankees. The Red Sox really only needed a shortstop and a catcher at the deadline and now they've got a catcher for years to come. If this team gets Garret Crochet and Roman Anthony back for the playoffs look out.
