The Siena men's basketball team is currently searching for their next head coach as they parted ways last week with Carmen Maciarello.  There are several good potential candidates and I expect a decision as soon as this week.  You could see it be former UAlbany head coach Will Brown.  Maybe former Siena player and assistant Matt Brady.  Or you could see Gerry McNamara former Syracuse player and assistant under Jim Boeheim.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:
Gerry McNamara is the front runner to be named the new men's head basketball coach at Siena and he will win the press conference. GMac was a great player under former Hall of Fame head coach Jim Boeheim at Syracuse, and he's been a longtime assistant coach with the Orange whose been trying to land a head coaching job. McNamara will need to use his name to attract players quickly because most of Siena's roster has entered the portal. His strength will be his ability to recruit and then time will tell if McNamara can coach. Siena has been down this road before with a mixed bag of success.

McNamara will have the Syracuse recruiting connections too as a huge bonus.  We know how legit Syracuse is as an area overall for basketball players.  Siena just needs new life and to be very aggressive in the transfer portal.  I still do feel bad for Carm as he's a great guy and was a great coach outside of this season.  Expect an announcement here soon from Siena for the next men's basketball head coach.
