"He picked up the camera that was charging on my dining room floor and it snapped his image. I have no idea who this is - their intention or why this is happening." Kat Grimes, Easton, NY

What happened?

Kat Grimes from Easton, NY, says that unbeknownst to her, an intruder was in her home on Saturday.  That's scary enough, but this story gets even more unnerving when Grimes explains when and how she found out.

Grimes, who lives about 20 miles east of Saratoga, took to Facebook over the weekend asking if anyone can identify the man in the photo who she says was inside her home over the weekend.

Grimes says that on Saturday, she stopped at her mom's house and looked at the security camera feed from her phone.
"I was shocked to find a face I do not recognize staring back at me."

But this is where the story takes an even scarier turn

Grimes says that she charged her cameras earlier before going to work and that's when she deduced that the intruder was in her home when she was home as well!
"While getting ready for work this man was INSIDE my home with me," she says.
"He picked up the camera that was charging on my dining room floor and it snapped his image. I have no idea who this is - their intention or why this is happening."
She has reason to believe this man may have been watching her for some time.
"I lock my doors even when I am home - this person knew how to access AND hide in my home WITH ME INSIDE and go undetected."
Grimes tells us that the police have been completely cooperative and have interviewed neighbors and frequented the property more than once.
Currently, she says they do not have any leads and no identifications, but her Facebook post has gone viral with hundreds of shares, and a couple of people have said they "had weird things happen but nothing that aligns with time or immediate area with the occurrence at my home."
