Yankees Among Favorites To Sign Dallas Keuchel

Break out the clippers! One of the most iconic beards in sports could be shaved in the next few days. Now that the MLB Draft is here teams can sign Lefty pitcher and former Tri-City Valley Cat Dallas Keuchel. Almost every insider seems to think the New York Yankees are one of the favorites to sign Keuchel.

Ever since the last night when the team that signs either Relief Pitcher Craig Kimbrel or Dallas Keuchel without forfeiting draft picks the Yankees have been many insiders favorites to sign Keuchel. The Atlanta Braves are the other team receiving the most buzz around the former Cy Young winner.

If the Yankees do indeed land Keuchel their starting rotation would consist of James Paxton, Masahiro Tanaka, Domingo German, J.A. Happ, CC Sabathia and Keuchel. Factor in the potential return of Luis Severino and Jordan Montgomery and you could go six deep with German and Montgomery in the bullpen or even available for trade.
