It's been a long running joke on the show this season that with all the injuries sooner or later even the great John Sterling might run out of Home Run calls. Well believe it or not it finally happened. Last night Yankees' shortstop Thairo Estrada hit his first career home run off of Seattle Mariners' pitcher 'King' Felix Hernandez and Sterling had nothing.

I'm not not blaming John by any means. Just pointing out how crazy the injuries have been this season for the Yankees. I can't remember there ever being a home run Sterling wasn't ready for. Estrada is a year removed from being shot in the hip in a robbery attempt and by the way the bullet is still in there. So for Sterling to miss one isn't on him it's on the injury bug that continues to sting the Yankees.
