You Can Book Your Chance to ‘Catch a Killer’ in Saratoga Springs!
Have you ever been sitting at home, watching a crime drama on television, and thought to yourself, "hey, I could do that!"
Normally, your friends or family would probably look at you, chuckle, roll their eyes and move on with their lives. This time around, however, you might actually be able to showcase your sleuthing skills.
There's a killer loose in Saratoga Springs, and you could be the hero that saves the Capital Region from harm.
CluedUpp Games Brings the CSI Experience to Saratoga
What is CluedUpp Games, you may ask? Well, allow me to explain. CluedUpp descibes themselves as an independent games studio that creates immersive experiences and team building activities. They bring their unique brand of team activities to cities and towns across the United States, and Saratoga Springs is on the calendar.
On July 9th, 2022, CluedUpp will be bringing the "CSI Saratoga" experience to the Capital Region. Here's what the day will entail...
"Use forensic techniques, codebreaking, and good old-fashioned detective work to crack the case in this limited ticket event…" - CluedUpp Games
Here is an inside look at what your day solving crime would look like:
Participants will spend, on average, two to three hours solving their crime, with instructions being laid out through the CluedUpp Games app. Groups are also encouraged to dress up in costumes (like the ones in the video), as prizes will be awarded for the best-looking detectives around.
A team ticket to the event costs $90. Teams can consist of a minimum of two players, and can have a maximum of six, in order to qualify for the event. Children under the age of 16 are also welcome to come, and are not counted against the price or the quantity of players.
