The Syracuse men's basketball team is currently on the bubble and on the outside looking in as far as the NCAA Tournament is concerned.  Let the bubble watch begin for the Orange as they need to finish the ACC conference season strong and the conference tournament in early March too.  First year head coach Adrian Autry has been solid so far and has done away with the traditional Syracuse tow three zone and played a lot of man defense.  They only have one signature quad one win and that was over North Carolina at home at the Dome.  I would love to see Syracuse in the NCAA Tournament for March Madness, but I just don't see it happening.

Unless Cuse makes a very deep run to like the ACC Semifinals I don't see how it can be done this season.  It would be three straight seasons without a trip to the NCAA Tournament as the last two under legendary and now retired head coach Jim Boeheim were very disappointing.  Syracuse has the talent but I do feel they are certainly missing the Glens Falls native Joseph Girard III who has transferred to Clemson.

The committee does tend to give Syracuse some love and have in years past.  They haven't made the Final Four since 2016 and that was their last deep run in the tourney.  We have a ton of Cuse fans right here in the Capital Region and they along with MJ and I are rooting for them to win a few more games and get in.
