Those long-handled putters that have become fairly popular on the professional golf circuit could soon be obsolete after the U.S. Golf Association and the Royal and Ancient Golf Club—the official governing bodies of The Rules of Golf voted this week to ban “anchoring” a club while putting.

I mean wow. I am watching a never have won a  major and have choked many a golf tournaments away Sergio Garcia go up in flames and to tell you the truth I am ok with that. The latest from the choke Garcia though will land in him in hot water from the race baiters...

After Sergio Garcia accused Tiger Woods of intentionally distracting him during a shot earlier in the tournament and saying that the two do not get along, it was expected that the feud would come to a head during the final round of The Players Championship. It did and Sergio, as expected, came out on the short end after this legendary meltdown on the tournament's penultimate hole.

Tiger Woods vs. David Duval never happened.  Tiger Woods vs. Phil Mickelson never happened.  Tiger Woods vs. Ernie Els never happened.  Tiger Woods vs. Sergio Garcia also never happened.  And for what seemed like the 1,000th time at The 2013 Players Championship, we were reminded yet again why Woods vs. Garcia was laughable from the start.

The 1980 film 'Caddyshack' is arguably one of the most famous comedies of its generation. Set at the upscale Bushwood Country Club, the film follows the many subplots of its A-List cast. From Danny trying to raise money for college to Carl Spackler and his many attempts to annihilate that pesky (and infamous) groundhog, 'Caddyshack' is just gets funnier every time you watch it.

This Masters was about Adam Scott in the end.  Not about Tiger Woods.  Not about Tiger's  two-stroke penalty.  Not about a 14-year old from China.  Not about Amen Corner.  It was all about a guy who never had the guts or the putts to win.  It was about the first Australian to ever win a green jacket.

With its winner receiving a gaudy green jacket that wouldn't be out of place at a retirement home, the Masters is hardly a beacon of contemporary taste. Golf's most revered championship takes place this weekend in Augusta, Ga. If you watch it, you'll undoubtedly hear the majestic Masters' theme song in the video above...
