On Thursday, Scotia boys' basketball star Joe Cremo was named the New York State Class A co-Player of the Year.

This is the second time Cremo has taken home the award, as he was the outright player of the year in 2013-14.

Cremo led the Tartans to a 26-1 overall record this season, as Scotia-Glenville captured its second straight New York State Class A championship before falling for the first time in the Federation Tournament of Champions.

Cremo averaged 28.3 points per game in the regular season for the Tartans, who had a 53-game win streak across two years

The senior star will play at the University of Albany next season and try to help the Danes win their fourth straight America East title.

In Class AA, Shenendehowa star Kevin Huerter was named second-team All-State. Huerter is receiving big-time Division 1 interest, having received scholarship offers from Maryland, Texas Tech, Miami, Marquette, Davidson, Creighton, Penn State among others.

Anthony Mack of Catholic Central was named to the third team. Andrew Platek of Guilderland was a fourth-team selection.
