Oddsmakers in the sports betting world are smart, as we all know. They're the people that make picking NFL games against the spread such a pain and cause bettors to lose lots and lots of money. And according to them, there is almost no chance that anyone other than Texas A&M freshman quarterback Johnny Manziel will win the Heisman Trophy tonight.

According to bovada.lv, which used to be the popular site known as bodog.com, Johnny Football is a 1/25 favorite to win the Heisman, with Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o at 5/1 odds and Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein at 35/1.

To put those odds in perspective, the sports book is so sure that Manziel will win that it will only pay you $4 on top of your $100 bet, compared to betting on Te'o and Klein which would win you $500 and $3,500 on a $100 bet, respectively.

So what does all of this mean? Well, for starters, don't bet on who will win the Heisman Trophy, as there is nothing to gain by betting on Manziel and very little chance of it ending up with anyone else. It also means that Johnny Manziel is as close to a lock as it gets to win the Heisman Trophy tonight.
