The New York Knicks have certainly had a very special season so far.  They currently sit at 33-18 overall and are tied for third place in the Eastern Conference standings with The Milwaukee Bucks.  They are obviously overachieving but they have the fans and the city buzzing and Madison Square Garden is rocking for every home game.  They are a very impressive 19-6 overall at home.  However, they are starting to quickly become depleted.  The Knicks have lost several key and star players over the last few weeks and could end up hurting this magical run that they are on here right now.

Mitchell Robinson we already knew would be out for the year and Julius Randle at least until mid March.  Now on Tuesday night Jalen Brunson suffered an ankle injury and had to leave the game early in a win over the Memphis Grizzlies.  It has been reported that he fortunately avoided a significant ankle injury but if I were the Knicks I would rest him through the all star break which is the middle of next week.  OG Anunoby has now missed six games in a row with elbow inflammation and Josh Hart was banged up during the Grizzlies game as well.

The Knicks now have four more games to get through before the much needed all star break to get some rest and some key buys back healthy, none of which are bigger than Jalen Brunson as he is the midst of his best season.  He also made his first all star team and Julius Randle is also an all star too.  I still think the Knicks are legit this season and can absolutely make a deep run in the East, but they need to get healthy and soon.
