HS Baseball Tonight at Joe Bruno Stadium

Friday night will mark the final installment of the “Friday Night Lights” high school baseball series at Joe Bruno Stadium.

La Salle will take on Troy at 4 p.m. while Guilderland and Columbia will battle at 7 p.m.

Admission is $5 and proceeds from tonight’s games go to benefit Coaches vs. Cancer.

The showcase series, which began last season, is a great opportunity for local players to play on a professional field. It is also a great opportunity to bring fanfare to the high school game.

On April 25, Lansingburgh defeated Voorhesville and Shenendehowa beat Niskayuna. Last Friday, Saratoga defeated Colonie and Shaker beat Averill Park.
