The stars were on-display on the court, and in the stands, at MVP Arena in Albany on Monday evening.

Two of the biggest stars in college basketball, Iowa's Caitlin Clark and LSU's Angel Reese, squared off for the second time in exactly 365 days, with a trip to the Final Four on the line.

As they prepared for battle on the court, a few notable celebrities found their seats at MVP Arena, and got ready to watch the game unfold.

One such celebrity has become synonymous with winning (fictional) championships in sports, and that's Jason Sudeikis:

The star of the show Ted Lasso (and countless other hilarious movies and TV shows) was on-hand for Iowa's victory over LSU on Monday night, and clearly, was fired up while watching it. After the game, Sudeikis made his way courtside to say hello to Caitlin Clark.

That awesome interaction was captured on video, and posted online:

Sudeikis has been spotted at his fair share of basketball games in the past. For example, a video of Sudeikis sinking a shot at Madison Square Garden went viral last year.

Sudeikis was one of many celebrities that were spotted, or rumored to have been spotted, in the Capital Region last night. Rumor also has it that Dave Portnoy, architect of Barstool Sports and their One Bite Pizza Review series, was spotted at a local pizzeria last night.

We'll keep an eye on his YouTube page for a review video. Stay tuned there.

In addition to his interaction with Caitlin Clark, Sudeikis also took time to take photos with other fans at the game, including friend of 104.5 The Team, Anthony Marino.

Check out his post on Twitter:

Sudeikis was also able to spend some time on the court at MVP Arena, and show off his incredible sweatshirt:

It was really impressive to see the reception for Albany as a regional host in this year's NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament. In fact, I can only think of two examples of negative things said about the Capital Region all weekend long.

(Appreciate you, Doug and Rebecca!)
