Josh Smith Posterizes Brooklyn Nets’ Brook Lopez [VIDEO]

You’ve heard the phrase “monster dunk” before.  This is more like a Rambo dunk.  Check out Josh Smith absolutely throwing down on Brook Lopez.

Atlanta Hawks power forward Josh Smith is no stranger to dunking the basketball with authority.  The smooth lefty threw down a nasty dunk on Brooklyn’s Brook Lopez on Friday night.  Smith took the ball the length of the floor after grabbing a rebound and posterized poor Brook Lopez along the way.  It was a great play by Smith.

The Nets got the last laugh as they won the game 94-89.  Deron Williams poured in a game-high 24 points for Brooklyn.  Smith didn’t shoot well as he scored 12 points on 5-of-15 shooting.  The Nets improved to 24-16 (16-7 at home) while the Hawks dropped to 22-17.  Brooklyn is currently a 5-seed in the East while the Hawks are a 6-seed.
