The NBA has to make some adjustments and change the NBA all star game as soon as possible.  Literally no defense is played and everybody shoots like a hundred threes per game.  The only good thing was that Jalen Brunson was in the all star game for the Knicks with regional interest.  The skills competition is an absolute joke.  The dunk contest is boring now and barely anybody competes in it.  The three point contest is okay but the same players compete and win it every single year.  If you are commissioner Adam Silver you need to seriously make some major changes.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in the Times Union:

The NBA All Star game is unwatchable and until major changes are made it's not going to get any better. The players play absolutely no defense and even the diehard NBA fans can't watch a game that ends with a final score of 211-to-186.  There are parts of NBA All Star weekend that are fun to watch like the three-point shooting contest, but the game itself has become an absolute joke.

You have to encourage your stars to compete and play or just don't even do the game.  I can't watch teams play no defense and not put any effort in.  This has to drive old school basketball and NBA fans crazy including me.  I don't have the immediate solution for the league but I sure Adam Silver and the front office do.
