Now that the Knicks are down 2-0 to the Miami Heat, and they've lost Amare Stoudemire and Iman Shumpert, its time to shut down the “Lin might return” rumors for good. I know that the Knicks
management hates “thinking ahead” and “making smart business decisions,” but this is one that they cannot drop the ball on
Amare Stoudemire is out indefinitely with a budging disc in his back. Amare’s injury is similar to the one Baron Davis suffered last year, which required a surgery that kept him out for nine months. As of now the Knicks are saying that Stoudemire will not undergo surgery, although they have not ruled it out as a possibility. Stoudemire missed the final game of the Knicks playoff series loss to the Celtics last season due to back issues.
Have you heard about Linsanity? Yeah, well now if you’re a Time Warner Cable customer you’ll be able to watch it as well. The dispute between Time Warner Cable and the MSG Network has been resolved, according to a party near to Time Warner. The despute has left more than 2 million New York State residents without access to New York Knicks and Rangers game since the first of the year.
If Game #1 is any indication of what’s to come in the Knicks/Celtics series, call me an NBA Playoff fan! All I can say is, “Wow.”
