Big performances by Dwyane Wade and Lebron James made things very difficult for the New York Knicks last night as the Heat beat them 99-89.

Reports indicated early Friday that both Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade would be out for Friday nights match up between the Knicks and Heat.  Turns out though that Dwyane Wade was ready to play, and he ends up dropping 28 in his return.  Melo on the other hand, enjoyed his view from the bench. Heat beat the Knicks 99-89.

Carmelo Anthony is expected to miss at least two more games while he takes care of an ankle and thumb injury.  The Knicks woes will no doubt continue until they get healthier, and start working together as a team.

The Knicks took 43 three point shots last night, but only sunk 18 of them.  10 of the 43 shots came from Bill Walker who sunk seven and had a team high 21 points off the bench.  Amare Stoudemire struggled with just 12 points and six rebounds.  Nine points for Tyson Chandler, who seems to be the most inconsistent player on the team.

The Knicks current road trip continues with a game in Houston tonight, where they will attempt to get back on track.
