“I’m very interested [in the Jets],” said Johnson, to Armen and Levack on 104.5 The Team. “I have no problem going there. I’d love to go to that city. I enjoyed the coaches when we sat down and talked in Indianapolis for the Combine. I would enjoy playing with the guys there.”

Johnson left Miami as the program’s all-time leader in all-purpose yards, so does he believe that he’s the best back in the draft and better than Melvin Gordon and Todd Gurley?

“I think at the end of the day I bring more to the table,” said Gordon. “I think I have the biggest value.

“Those other two guys have showed that they’re great running backs. Todd Gurley showed it before he got injured last year and Melvin showed it all year. Both of those guys are great running backs and will do big things at the next level.”

As of now, Johnson is looked at as someone who could be drafted anywhere from late in the first and into the second round.
