Miami Heat owner Micky Arison may regret taking to twitter to sound off about the NBA lockout, because he is now being fined $500,000.

The NBA hasn't made an official announcement about the fine but a league source confirmed that Micky Arison would be facing a $500,000 fine.  That's 5 times as much as other owners have been facing for talking about the NBA lockout, but perhaps NBA commish David Stern has finally had enough.  Stern did give strict orders not to discuss it, and twitter is a very public place.

Speculation has been that owners are not united with the current negotiations among the players and owners, and Arison's tweets may have given some proof to that argument, especially his responses to tweets that people had been making at him.
