Oklahoma City’s Serge Ibaka punched Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin directly in the man region on Sunday.  Surprisingly, Serge wasn’t ejected.

Oklahoma City Thunder power forward Serge Ibaka delivered a powerful (and extremely cheap) punch to the man region of Blake Griffin on Sunday.  Ibaka and Griffin had been battling all day.  Ibaka became frustrated while trying to box out Griffin late in the 4th quarter and simply punched Griffin in the groin.

The officials reviewed the incident on a monitor and decided to issue a Flagrant 1 foul.  Really?  That’s it?  A direct punch to the man region only draws a Flagrant 1?  Heck, Ibaka should’ve gotten a Flagrant 4 foul.  That’s ridiculous.  Oklahoma City polished off the L.A. Clippers 108-104.  The loss means that Blake got kicked in the groin on top of getting punched in it by Ibaka.

The conclusion of Oklahoma City’s victory aired on 104.5 The Team following the Albany Devils’ 3-2 win over Adirondack on Sunday.  More NBA action is headed your way on Tuesday night as Oklahoma City is back in action against the Los Angeles Lakers at 9:30pm ET.  Pregame coverage begins at 8:30pm on 104.5 The Team, ESPN Radio.
