Forget the slow starts that have troubled Siena much of the season. This time it was a bad finish that did them in Friday at Loyola.

Hanging tough against the defending MAAC champs till the end Siena was within 3 at the half and actually took a brief lead at 37-36 with just over 10 minutes left but were then outscored 26-15 and lost 63-51

Markovic was named the 7th coach in the programs history in a presser on Thursday

With a nice 66-63 win at the Times Union Center Friday night over the Jaspers that's exactly what the Saints have done and if they can string together a few more wins they can at least get a decent seed in the conference tournament
