Daytona 500 Postponed Until Monday

In the first time in it's 54-year history, the Daytona 500 has been postponed. It has been delayed and rain-shortened in the past, but this is the first time the Great American Race has ever been pushed to Monday.

ValleyCats Game Postponed, Day-Night Doubleheader Scheduled For Monday

The Tri-City ValleyCats scheduled game on Sunday against the Lowell Spinners has been postponed due to Hurricane Irene.  It will now be played on Monday afternoon.

Yankees, Rays Washed Out

The New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays had their rubber game postponed due to heavy rain on Sunday. AJ Burnett was scheduled to start in place of Freddy Garcia due to an injury to Garcia's throwing hand.

Rain Leads To Wednesday Doubleheader For Yanks And Reds

Thanks to mother nature, we'll have a day/night doubleheader at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati on Wednesday between the Yankees and Reds.

Afternoon rainshowers with even more rain in the forecast caused Tuesday's Yanks/Cincy game to be postponed.
