According to a published A.P. report the Mets  brain trust has discussed using baseball's top pitcher on 3 days rest instead of the usual four days that is the usual in the big leagues.

During last night's game against the Rays, we saw Mets pitcher R.A. Dickey toss a complete game one-hitter, but the Mets are appealing the official scorer's decision that led to Tampa Bay's only hit of the game. Do you think the Mets are being "hypocritical" for appealing a decision that involves the "human element" of the game...

Well that didn't take long. In fact, three home games before Yankee fans starting in on what appears to be their 2012 whipping-post pitcher, Phil Hughes. Hughes was not good up against the Angels on Saturday, nor was he good in his season debut, getting beat up a bit by Tampa in game 3...

Don't worry I won't be getting all loud and proud on the Mets. YET. But hey 4-0 is 4-0 and it's a nice 4-0. Good pitching, a few timely hits, a feisty club, and some smart play have the Mets leading the NL East. Now I know this won't continue...
