Tanaka Introduced As A New York Yankee

Japanese pitcher Masahiro Tanaka is officially a New York Yankee!

"I was thinking as I was driving in, this would make 'the Boss' proud," said Brian Cashman, Yankees General Manager. "The Yankees are about always tryign to aquire the best talent ... but he also liked a lot of attention ... This is Steinbrenner big."

Tanaka was introduced in a room slammed full of media. The Yankees believe that Tanaka will be the third pitcher in their rotation as he reports to spring training on Friday with pitchers and catchers.
