Former Siena basketball player and current Harlem Globetrotter Tay Fisher is coming back to the Capital District this summer and he's bringing his basketball camp with him.

Located at Troy High, Fisher's camp will take place on August 8-12 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. It will focus on fundamentals of the game, fun and leadership training. Players will also have a chance to swim after a long day of basketball.

Fisher joined me today to talk about the inspiration for his camp and why it's important to have a camp in the Capital District. Furthermore, we spoke about his time with the Harlem Globetrotters as his season gets set to end.

As always, we spoke to Fisher about his alma mater and his reaction to Jimmy Patsos signing an extension to stay the program's head coach.

Fisher helped Siena to the NCAA Tournament during his time in Loundonville.
