Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel Misses Extra Point [VIDEO]

Johnny Football looked like an old-school kicker during a failed extra point attempt against Sam Houston State on Saturday.

Johnny Manziel has had a fantastic season for Texas A&M.  So far, Manziel has completed 67.7% of his passes with 21 touchdowns and 7 interceptions.  Manziel also leads the Aggies in rushing yardage (1,114) and rushing touchdowns (17).  Johnny Football is one of the top contenders for the Heisman Trophy and was instrumental in a huge upset win last Saturday at #1 Alabama.

Although Manziel has had a tremendous season, he stinks as a kicker.  Manziel attempted an extra point during a 47-28 win over Sam Houston State on Saturday.  He channeled his inner Florida State and shanked the ball wide right.  It’s one of the few things that Manziel has failed at this season.

Manziel sure has some old-school form, doesn’t he?  He looked like Tom Dempsey (video below) or 1982 NFL MVP Mark Moseley of the Washington Redskins with that straight-on kicking style.  Our own Bruce Jacobs (host of “Game On” weekdays 3-7pm on 104.5 The Team, ESPN Radio) has a straight-on kicking style as well.  Unfortunately, he just can’t get the ball off of the ground (video below).
