Sports Illustrated is reporting that maybe we were wrong to blame former Knicks President Phil Jackson for Kristaps Porzingis skipping his exit interview. I for one believed that Porzingis was put off by the way Jackson and the Knicks were treating Carmelo Anthony but now there are reports it was a comment made by Head Coach Jeff Hornacek that upset the "Unicorn".

In a recent Sports Illustrated article the comment that caused the rift has been revealed. "According to the report, at one point during the season, Hornacek told Knicks center Willy Hernangomez, who is one of Porzingis' good friends, to tell Porzingis to “stop playing like a pu**y.”

All signs point to time healing all wounds as Kristaps Porzingis is publicly saying he wants to return to the New York Knicks. Is Porzingis being thin skinned or does Hornacek need to change his ways to suit younger superstars?
