Each Wednesday at 4pm, Levack and I discuss the most confusing sports stories in a segment simply called "WHY?!". Each week we are presented with a story that has happened in the past week in sports and we have to figure out why the event has occurred. Although the concept of the segment sounds simple, it truly is much harder to come to a conclusion on the topics. This week's topics included the New York Jets decision to wait until Sunday to name Bryce Petty the team's starting quarterback Petty was named the starter Sunday morning once Ryan Fitzpatrick was deemed unfit to start. Plus we wonder why the NFL continues to use part time officials. This issue gained a lot more attention once the officials played a huge role in deciding the outcome of Monday night's game between the Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks.
