With goaltender Keith Kinkaid called up to the parent NJ Devils the workload for Albany in net has fallen to Jeff Frazee and he has responded in a big way. His 37 saves led the Devils to a 3-1 win In Syracuse Friday night.

The 37 stops were the 2nd highest recorded by Frazee so far this year. The win was his and the Devils 3rd straight as they make a push for the playoffs.

This game was scoreless until midway through the 3rd period when the Devils struck paydirt twice in a span of 62 seconds. 1st it was Chris McKelvie at 9:04 then it was Darcy Zajac lighting the lamp at 10:06. The game remained 2-0 when Syracuse who were riding an 8 game winning streak, scored at 17:45. However Frazee was able to hold off the Crunch until Zajac scored into an empty net icing the game.

The Devils will try and extend their winning streak to 4 when they travel to Wilkes-Barre/ Scranton for a match against the Penguins.
