Anchor Chair Empty
How do you say goodbye to a colleague, and how do you say goodbye to a friend? That's the task that Scott Van Pelt and Steve Levy had at the end of the 11 p.m. SportsCenter on Sunday night as they tried to properly send-off Stuart Scott, who died at the age of 49 from cancer.
All you can say is that they did it beautifully, under the worst of circumstances. They left the set at the conclusion of the show -- and left the anchor's spot empty.
Very nicely done.
