We're eight days into the official start of NFL free agency for 2023 and Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane has been very busy (as expected).

The Buffalo Bills have lost a few of their own free agents since last week, most notably linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, who signed a new contract with the Chicago Bears.

Running back Devin Singletary signed a one-year deal with the Houston Texans, while Case Keenum joined Houston as well, and safety Jaquan Johnson signed with the Las Vegas Raiders. Wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie was released by Buffalo last Friday and has since signed with the Indianapolis Colts.

As for additions, the Bills have brought in offensive lineman Connor McGovern (Dallas), running back Damien Harris (New England) and wide receivers Deonte Harty (New Orleans) and Trent Sherfield (Miami).

The Bills signed another free agent on Thursday, helping the offense once again.

Buffalo has signed guard David Edwards to a one-year contract.

Edwards has started 45 games for the Los Angeles Rams since 2019, when he was a 5th round draft pick out of the University of Wisconsin. He started all 17 games in 2021.

This signing, plus signing McGovern and bringing back guard David Quessenberry, makes it seem like the Bills won't be targeting offensive line (or at least guard) on day one of the NFL Draft.

Safety looks less likely with Jordan Poyer returning, which leaves wide receiver and linebacker as the two most likely positions the Bills go for; with offensive tackle a wild card.
