There are few legendary New York Yankees that were more firey and exciting than Billy Martin.

The second baseman and manager won four World Series as a player and one as a manager and his on again off again love affair with George Steinbrenner is the stuff of legends. I guess it only makes sense that such an amazing personality would have owned such an amazing house. The great news is for a cool $500,000 Billy's former upstate New York home could be yours.

Check out a few of the rooms that caught my eye right off the rip. I'm a fan of wide-open rooms. This house seems to be the perfect mix of modern and rustic—it retains that farmhouse feel but the kitchen and master bedroom are updated. Check it out for yourself.

Billy Martin's Upstate NY House

Billy Martin left this world way too soon as a result of a Christmas day car accident in 1989 near the entrance to this home. The history of this house and my fandom of Martin makes this the kind of place I dream about owning one day.
